I see a church where the people have found a relationship with God instead of religion where living for God is no longer an obligation it’s a heartfelt desire.
I see a church where people are continually taking steps in their spiritual journey with the goal of reaching new heights in every part of their lives.
I see a church full of people who are growing in God and discovering that God wants to use them to make a difference where every person’s experiencing the kind of fulfillment that only God can give.
I see a church were God uses ordinary people, DreamTeamers, LifeGroup leaders, the church staff to serve the people of our cities so that in turn the city opens their hearts to God.
I see a church so compassionate that people are drawn from impossible situations into a loving circle of hope where answers are found, and acceptance is given.
I see a church who never stops searching for the lost because God never stops searching for us.
I see a people, so kingdom minded that they will count whatever the cost and pay whatever the price to see revival sweep this land.
I see a church that will grow to an active attendance of at least 10,000 spread out in 10 locations by encouraging personal discipleship for individual growth in righteous living for God and His Kingdom.
The church that I see is a church so committed to raising, training an empowering a leadership generation of young people, church planters, and pastors that will go from this place and change the whole world.
The church that I see realizes that none of this can happen on their own ability, instead they are a church that is committed to prayer and dependency on the Holy Spirit.
I see a church where Jesus is famous, and all the Glory goes to God.
Interest meetings will begin in January of 2024. The purpose of the interest meetings is to identify those who would be interested in being a part of the launch team. After the first interest meeting, multiple small groups will launch that will focus on building community within the launch team of men, and women.
There will be additional interest meetings held at the Life Fellowship McKinney campus leading up to the launch services. These once-a-month interest meeting services will continue to happen until Launch Sunday on August 11, 2024.
Anna is slated to mushroom in size in the next 15 years from 24,000 people to over 100,000.
This growth is being driven by a number of factors, including the expansion of Texas Instruments’ $30 billion campus in Sherman, which is bringing 6,000 new high-paying jobs to the area, plus Collin County has been named one of the fastest growing counties in the US.
Anna is benefiting from the boom that the greater DFW area is experiencing. The DFW area is currently home to over 7 million people, and it is projected to grow by another 3.9 million people by 2040. The Dallas Regional Chamber projected that it is possible that DFW could double in size from 7 million to 14 million.
Here is an interesting stat: Currently, if everyone in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex miraculously joined a church, the average attendance per church would be roughly 3,000 people. That’s sobering because 85% of churches in DFW have fewer than 100 people in attendance, and 92% have fewer than 250 people in attendance.
In other words, even if all the churches in DFW had 1,000 members, there would still be a staggering 3 million unchurched people.
In fact, recent research suggests that by 2040, we’d need to plant between 2,500 and 9,610 new churches in DFW just to maintain the current reach of Christians. North Dallas is expanding rapidly, and the need for new healthy churches is great.
Right now, we have an incredible opportunity to establish a vibrant and life-giving church in Anna! There are 225,000 people within a 10-mile radius of Anna, and yet only about 31,000 of them were in church last week. That means there’s more than 194,000 people who are away from church and likely away from God.
The need is great and with over 225+ people from Life Fellowship who already live in the area, we are well-positioned to plant a thriving and growing church and reach them with the gospel and show them the love of Christ.
We are strategically planting our second campus in the heart of Anna, and we have already secured a lease agreement to use the High School for our Sunday services. We will be launching in August of 2024 with two services at 9:00am and 10:30am.

Jon and Jennifer, married for six years, have four children: Gabbie, Gracyn, Hunter, and Hannah. Jon has served as the Correctional Facilities Pastor at Life Fellowship for three years, with his academic accolades including a Master’s in Business and Theology, and he is currently pursuing a Doctorate at Liberty University. Under his leadership, the correctional ministry grew from 9 locations to over 6,200 facilities and is considering global expansion. Jon began his career in the Ranger Battalion, gaining combat experience before transitioning to an executive role at CSX Railroad, offering him diverse leadership insights.
Jennifer has been with Life Fellowship for three years, working as an administrative assistant and actively participating in women’s community groups. In 2023, Pastor Chris and the Life Fellowship Elder board recognized Jon’s potential to lead the launch of the second Life Fellowship campus in Anna. Both Jon and Jennifer bring their combined military, corporate, and ministry experiences to this new venture, aiming to impact Anna, Van Alstyne, Melissa, Prosper, Celina, Sherman, and McKinney.
Pastor Chris remarks, “Jon is the perfect leader for our second campus in Anna, with a genuine passion for ministry. I am eager to see the impact Jon and Jennifer will make.” The couple remains devoted to the vision of Life Fellowship and building a community where many will experience the grace of Jesus Christ.
On December 2/3 we will come together as a church in radical generosity and believe God for a vear end miracle offering. This offering will help launch our Anna Campus with $500K and support $100K for crucial missions projects.
Together we’re going to listen to God and do what He says. No gift is too small or too large.
In addition to renting the Anna High School Auditorium, Life Fellowship Church is taking a historic step of faith to acquire land in Anna to build our second campus. The total cost of the land will be roughly $3 million.
We are asking our church to unite together and pledge to increase our individual level of giving for the next year starting in January with the goal of paying cash for the property.
