about the mission field

The Philippines is predominantly Christian, with about 80% of the population identifying as Roman Catholic, making it the largest Catholic nation in Asia. Protestantism, particularly evangelical and Pentecostal movements, is also growing, especially in urban areas. Islam is practiced by around 5-10% of the population, primarily in the southern region of Mindanao. Religion is deeply woven into daily life, with Catholic festivals, church services, and family-centered traditions playing a central role in Filipino culture.

Our local partner

Ministry is geared toward college-aged Filipinos. Currently the Youth pastors minister to Muslims and Catholics. The have a tutoring center that helps low-performing student improve academically. The have a preschool in a Muslim village that is part of the most unreached tribe of the Philippines. The host a Sports ministry(soccer) in the local schools and villages

Team members will get to experience the culture from both urban and rural perspectives, each unique. Ministry will be tailored to the specific talents and interests of the team.

Mission Teams are dedicated to addressing the physical and spiritual needs of specific communities. We believe that Christ’s command to go into all the world remains unchanged. However, we are mindful of the various challenges that exist both locally and globally. We commit to taking all necessary precautions and collaborating with our missionary hosts to adhere to local guidelines. When needs and requests arise from our missionary partners and hosts, we aim to provide opportunities for those who are willing and able to go and assist in meeting these needs.

Passports must not expire within 7 months of return date and must include 3 blank visa pages, not amendment pages.

If you do not have a passport, please send confirmation of an ordered passport or confirmation that you have a passport appointment. This will be due within one week of your application being approved.
