This group is for ladies of all ages that enjoy learning more about scripture together using a more artistic approach to our study. This does not mean that you have to be an artist. In fact you don’t have to be artistic at all! If you enjoy drawing/sketching, coloring, water colors, writing Bible verses in creative script/block lettering/or your unique style, or simply want to experience scripture study in a new way this is a group for you. Our meetings consist of a brief devotional time, journaling together about this devotion if you chose and spending time getting to know one another better. We pray with and encourage each other during our time together as well as throughout the week.
This group has a private FB page that members are welcome to join if they chose. Some members share art work and journaling that they’ve done during our meetings or on our own. We also post journaling tips, worship songs & pod casts that have been a blessing to us, as well as daily devotion that spoke to our hearts that we believe the group will enjoy or benefit from. We post prayer and praise requests from our meetings and as things come up during the week.
Our topic this semester will center on selected Proverbs. The chapters will be chapters 3, 15, 16, 18, 23, 27 & 31. Materials will be provided on our private FB page prior to each meeting and during the actual meetings. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday morning of the month. We have a kickoff gathering @ a coffee shop at the end of August & two social events during the semester. One is our Christmas gathering at the beginning of December; the 2nd is determined based on the group’s interest. Come check us out; we know you’ll love it!!!
