The Production Manager contributes to the audio, video, & lighting experience for Life Fellowship Church as a whole while providing direct oversight to the tech arts area of Life Fellowship Students. Tech Arts creates an environment that facilitates people to connect with God without distractions by ensuring the highest level of excellence and consistency.
The Production Manager will also work under the Tech Arts Director to lead and develop a great team of audio, video and lighting volunteers at Life Fellowship Church. The Production Manager is under the direct leadership and authority of the Tech Arts Director and oversees all of the Life Fellowship Student Tech Arts volunteers, staff, and contractors. This position will also contribute in a role during church wide services or as the leaders of Tech Arts for a campus of Life Fellowship. This is a full-time salaried role and does require the person to at times work nights, weekends and holidays.
This position will require approximately 40-45 hours per week.
Principal Responsibilities*
Lead Tech Arts programing for LF Students.
Recruit, train, and schedule student Tech Arts volunteers for LF Students.
Manage contractor hires for student and church wide services as needed.
Communicate equipment maintenance needs and rental needs with TA Director.
Meet weekly with the TA Director and note action items.
Attend weekly meetings with Tech Arts Staff.
Actively participate in planning and preparation for services and events that require tech arts support.
Contribute to Tech Arts equipment research, installations, and training.
Regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when appropriate.
Contribute in an audio, video, or lighting role for services and events as needed.
Take ownership and provide direction to an area of focus like audio or lighting at Life Fellowship.
Attend church-wide Staff Meetings.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Assist Worship Pastor on music production projects for LF Worship as needed.
Perform or complete any items deemed necessary to support the vision and mission of the church.

Knowledge of audio recording techniques
Basic Video editing software knowledge (Final Cut, Premier, or Resolve)
Knowledge of video and audio capture workflow (video switcher, proper a/v input routing, etc.)
Basic Audio equipment maintenance skills (soldering, cleaning, labeling, etc.)
