Production Manager

The Production Manager contributes to the audio, video, & lighting experience for Life Fellowship Church with a focus on systems. Life Fellowship Production creates an environment that facilitates people to connect with God without distractions by ensuring the highest level of excellence and consistency.

The Production Manager will work under the Production Director to lead and develop a great team of audio, video and lighting volunteers at Life Fellowship Church. This position will also contribute in a role during church wide services and events.

This is a full-time salaried role and does require the person to at times work nights, weekends and holidays.

Principal Responsibilities

Lead Production programing for a ministry like YA or Students.

Recruit, train, and schedule Production volunteers, contractors, and staff.

Communicate equipment maintenance needs and rental needs with Production Director.

Contribute to Production audio equipment research, installations, and training.

Regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when

appropriate.

Consistently troubleshoot issues and contribute to fixes.

Adjust lighting console (Lightkey) settings and programming for volunteers to run.

Contribute in an audio, video, or lighting role for services and events as needed.

Meet consistently with the Production Director and note action items.

Keep church AVL automations (Companion + Qsys) updated and working.

Attend semi-weekly meetings with Production Staff.

Mix audio as needed for podcasts, creative videos, and worship moments as available.

Ensure audio and video through-out facility is consistent for each service and event plus

troubleshoots issues as they arise.

Assist Worship Pastor on music production projects for LF Worship as needed.

Actively participate in planning and preparation for services and events that require

production support.

Attend church-wide Staff Meetings.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Perform or complete any items deemed necessary to support the vision and mission of the

church.

Required Skills and Job Complexity

a) Unique Skills and Knowledge

Broad knowledge of church production, audio, lighting, and video

Great communication skills

Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong leadership and team-building skills

Ability to work in a high-profile and high-stress environment

Proficiency with setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting complex software and systems

Proficiency in routing, distribution, and monitoring of audio, video, and lighting

Certification or programming experience with Dante and Q-SYS

Understands how cameras operate

Video Switcher + ProPresenter knowledge

Resi System knowledge

Proficiency with Digital Audio Consoles, Waves SuperRack, LiveMix, or similar systems

Knowledge of audio recording techniques

Basic Video editing software knowledge (Final Cut, Premier, or Resolve)

Knowledge of audio capture workflow (proper a/v input & output routing)

Basic Audio equipment maintenance skills (soldering, cleaning, labeling, etc.)

Production Manager
