Video Producer

Full-time position
1. Synopsis of Role

The Video Producer is responsible for producing all video content for Life Fellowship Church as well as oversee all live video production for services. To tell stories through videos that will build the local church and inspire audiences to grow in their personal faith.

2. General Responsibilities

  • Storyboarding, writing, shooting, directing, and editing video segments for Life Fellowship Church. Video segments include, but are not limited to opener videos, bumpers, LED content, testimony videos, promotional videos, inspirational videos, training videos, and any video content for web and social media distribution.
  • Direct photography on all film shoots and manage the technical aspects of the film including cameras, sound, lighting, design, etc.
  • Assist the Creative Director in managing large-scale projects including budgeting, casting, scouting, and producing videos.
  • Coordinate with Contractors/Freelancers with any outsourced film projects.
  • Maintain the video archive of Life Fellowship Church.
  • Edit and upload Service for on-demand platforms and archive purposes.
  • Stay current with trends in video production and story-telling.
  • Work with TA director to oversee all Tech Arts volunteers during service.
  • Be an active part of the Weekend Planning Team.
  • Improve the quality of our live streaming videos.
  • Lead video team during live services and rehearsals (camera ops and any video related volunteers) ensuring consistency and high quality on all the camera shots.
  • Train volunteers for live video production (Cameras op., Video Director etc).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that may come up.
  • Work with the TA Director to build and strengthen Tech Arts Team.
  • Work with the TA Director on any technical needs or equipment purchases.
  • Seek excellence in everything you do.

Required Skills and Job Complexity

  • Unique Skills and Knowledge▪Experience in film/video making (directing, editing, etc.)
    ▪ Film portfolio available online.
    ▪ Extensive understanding of the filmmaking process (development, pre-production, production and post-production).
    ▪ Video editing proficiency (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
    ▪ Motion Graphics proficiency (Adobe After Affects).
    ▪ Color-grading proficiency.
    ▪ Proficiency with production equipment (steady cam, dolly, gimbal, lighting, camera op, video switcher).
    ▪ Highly Creative
    ▪ Passion for the Gospel and building the local church.
    ▪ Basic audio recording and mixing skills.
    ▪ Sufficient writing ability to create scripts and/or oversee the creation of such scripts necessary for the production of quality, compelling video segments.
